Writer's picture: graingerbattaliongraingerbattalion

On November 11, 2022, the Grainger County High School JROTC Color Guard presented the colors and performed a flag folding ceremony at the Rutledge and Bean Station Veterans Day ceremonies. Cadet Johnna Hedge gave a speech representing the POW/MIAs lost from our ranks, and a speech detailing every fold of the flag of the United States of America. Cadet Jade Kuykendall folded and presented the American flag to Ronald Hodge and Bean Staion Mayor Ben Waller during the flag folding presentation. She also placed the POW/MIAs sheet onto the empty chair as a physical symbol of all American POW/MIAs still unaccounted for. The Jrotc program is always honored to able to serve our community in any way!
