On Saturday, May 10th, the Grizzly Raider Team showcased their dedication and skill by participating in the annual Grainger Raider Competition, a highly anticipated event for JROTC Raider teams. This year's competition provided an exciting display of teamwork and athletic prowess from all participating schools.
After a day of intense competition and hard-fought events, Corbin High School emerged in 1st place. The home team, Grainger High School, proudly secured 2nd place, demonstrating their strong abilities on their own turf. LaRue County High School rounded out the top finishers, taking 3rd place.
The Grainger Raider Competition also served as a special occasion to recognize and bid farewell to the team's graduating Raider Seniors. The Grizzly Battalion expressed their sincere gratitude for the seniors' leadership and unwavering dedication to the team throughout their time.
The event was made even more competitive and engaging thanks to the participation of several other talented Raider teams. The Grizzly Battalion extended a thank you to Daniel Boone High School, Oak Ridge High School, and Science Hill High School for their participation and for contributing to the spirit of competition.
