Grizzly Raiders Teach Oak Ridge Counterparts

On Monday, May 5th, a dedicated contingent of Grizzly Raiders traveled to Oak Ridge High School to collaborate with their NJROTC Raider team.

Demonstrating leadership and expertise, the Grizzly Cadets took on an instructional role, providing hands-on guidance on essential Raider skills. They shared their knowledge of the intricate techniques involved in tying Swiss seats, a crucial safety measure for rappelling and other activities. Additionally, they instructed the Oak Ridge cadets on the principles and methods of constructing sturdy and reliable rope bridges, vital for navigating challenging terrain.

This collaborative visit not only facilitated the sharing of valuable knowledge and practical skills between the two JROTC Raider programs but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork. The Grizzly Battalion expressed immense pride in their cadets for their initiative in teaching and connecting with their counterparts in another JROTC program, highlighting their commitment to leadership and inter-program cooperation.
